Alumni News

Our new Careers Adviser has started at Judd and sends a message to all our Alumni, Parents, Teachers and Former Teachers:

By way of introduction, I am Mrs Sarah Seager and I started this term as the Careers and Higher Education Adviser.

I am very keen to support students with their preparation for the world of work or university and will be offering the following:

  • Individual careers meetings

  • A suite of resources

  • Targeted support sessions and workshops for all year groups ranging from skills tests and current labour market information to interview practice, apprenticeships, CV’s and LinkedIn workshops.

My main aim is to keep students up to date on the ever changing landscape of careers and higher education and be there to support them.

Some of the support I will be offering students requires volunteers from different educational and careers backgrounds, such as, practice interviews, networking events and careers evenings.  If you are interested in helping out at a careers event then I would love to hear from you.  Please fill in the form below to connect with me:

Support careers at the Judd School community

If you would like to know more about me please do look at my LinkedIn profile and invite me to connect if you would like to.  In summary, I am a qualified careers adviser with over 20 years experience in executive search and recruitment into front office investment banking and accountancy.  I have also worked with a global engineering consultancy developing their UK school engagement and work experience programme.  As a careers adviser I have advised students and adults on many career sectors and aspects including medicine, law, marketing, university entrance, apprenticeship applications and much more.

If you do have any queries or would like further information please do not hesitate to email me at sseager@judd.kent.sch.uk.
